5/9/2000 Alex Aybar Named to the All-Pac-10 Conference Men's Tennis First Team University of Arizona junior tennis player Alex Aybar was named to the All-Pac-10 Conference Men's Tennis First Team today, in voting that was done by conference head coaches. [continued] 4/28/2000 Men's Tennis Duo Beats Top Doubles Team at Pac-10 Championships Arizona's duo of junior Alex Aybar and senior Jean-Noel LaCoste beat the No. 1 doubles team in the nation, Geoff Abrams and Alex Kim of Stanford, 8-4, in the main draw at the Pac-10 Championships Friday at the Ojai Valley Tennis Club. Aybar and LaCoste advanced to the quarterfinals, falling short to USC's Parker Collins and Andrew Park, 9-8 (5).
