LaNell Robson Tennis Center (MW Tennis)

When LaNelle Robson Tennis Center was dedicated in 1991, it immediately joined the ranks of the finest on-campus tennis facilities in the nation. The complex features 18 competition courts, a center-court grandstand, night lighting, team rooms, a permanent canopy over the facility's center-court grandstand, a concessions area, a pro shop and supplemental restrooms and storage areas.

The president of the LaNelle Robson is Edward J. Robson, who established the in memory of his late wife, LaNelle. Robson donated the permanent canopy that hangs over the grandstands.

In the past couple of years, several improvements have been made on the complex. A new scoreboard has been installed, displaying the scores of all singles and doubles matches. In addition to the newly installed scoreboard, the Lesher Room has been remodeled. The Lesher Room is used for team meetings, videotape viewing and special events. Among the remodeling was a public address system installed at the center.
