5.9.2000 Alex Aybar Named to the All-Pac-10 Conference Men's Tennis First Team Tucson, Ariz. University of Arizona junior tennis player Alex Aybar was named to the All-Pac-10 Conference Men's Tennis First Team today, in voting that was done by conference head coaches. Aybar, ranked No. 54 in the country, finished the season with an record of 21-14 and went 11-10 in dual matches as the Wildcats' No. 1 player. He advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the main draw at the Pac-10 Men's Tennis Championships, where he lost to Oregon's Thomas Schneiter. |
