Lindsay Blau and Michelle Gough Named Pac-10 Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Year

Tucson, Ariz. On the heels of their Pacific-10 Conference women's doubles championship, University of Arizona women's tennis players Lindsay Blau (Ossining, N.Y.) and Michelle Gough (Johannesburg, South Africa) were named the Pac-10's Women's Doubles Team of the Year today. Currently the 10th ranked doubles tandem in the country, they captured what was just the second Pac-10 doubles title in Arizona women's tennis history back on April 30.

The duo concluded the season with a 28-11 doubles record.

In addition to their doubles honor, both Blau and Gough were also named to the All-Pac-10 honorable mention team for singles play.

Arizona returns to action this Saturday, May 13, when it takes on New Mexico in the NCAA Regionals, which will be held at USC in Los Angeles, Calif. The winner of that match will take face the winner of the USC-Maryland-Baltimore County on Sunday, May 14.
