Women's Tennis Finishes Regular Season in Top 25

TUCSON, Ariz. - For the eighth consecutive week Arizona earned a spot in the top 25 with a No. 22 ranking in the Wingspanbank.com poll released Wednesday. The berth marks the 11th time in the season's 14 weeks that the Wildcats have held down a top 25 ranking.

UA freshman Uzma Khan and sophomore Lindsay Blau each maintained a position in the singles poll. Blau slipped three places to 56th while Khan dropped a spot to 84th. On the doubles side, Blau and her partner, junior Michelle Gough, are ranked 10th, earning a berth in the top 10 for the sixth consecutive poll.

The Wildcats are gearing up for postseason play which will begin May 13. Pairings and seedings will be announced Thursday at 12:30 p.m. MST.
