NOTES
- Busch's 2000 Pac-10 Women's Swimming Coach of the Year Award is his third-career conference award for the UA women's team and fifth overall (1998 Women's COY, 1991 Women's COY, 1993 Men's COY and 2000 Men's COY))
- Busch guided Arizona to its first-ever Pac-10 Women's Swimming and Diving Championship in 1, which also marks the first time in the 14-year history of the event that Stanford was not crowned champion.
- Denali Knapp earned five First-Team All America selections in 2000 and one Honorable-Mention All America selection to bring her career total to 23, making her one of the most accomplished swimmers, male or female, in Arizona history.
- Amazingly, all 16 of Jackson's career All America nods are of the first-team variety.
- 2000 marked the fifth-straight year that Arizona has won a national championship in at least one of the freestyle relay events. Arizona has also won five of the last nine national titles in the freestyle relay events, during the last three seasons and seven of the last 15 freestyle relay titles in the last five seasons.
- Arizona has had a national champion, either male or female, every year since 1991.
