NOTES
- Arizona's third-place team finish was the highest in the history of the men's program, which began in 1932
- Busch was named Pac-10 Conference Men's Swimming Coach of the Year for the second time (1993) in his 11-year career and fifth time overall (men's and women's swimming combined) at Arizona.
- This year marked the first time in Pac-10 history that a swimming coach has earned both Men's and Women's Pac-10 Coach of the Year honors in the same season. The women's award has been given since 1987 and the men's began in 1976.
- Michele Mitchell-Rocha 's Pac-10 Conference Diving Coach of the Year award was the second of her career (1997).
- Neethling's nine career NCAA individual titles are the most in swimming school history, male or female.
- Neethling's nine career NCAA individual titles are the most by one student-athlete in the 103-year history of Arizona athletics.
- Neethling was also named the 1 Pacific-10 Conference Swimmer of the Year. This was his fourth-straight year receiving that honor. The feat matches Dave Wharton of USC who is the only other swimmer to ever garner that honor four times (1988-91).
- Busch (Men's Swimming Coach of the Year), Mitchell-Rocha (Men's Diving Coach of the Year), Neethling (Men's Swimmer of the Year) and Vaca (Men's Diver of the Year) marked the only sweep of the four major conference awards in the history of Pac-10 men's swimming and diving.
- Arizona has had a national champion, either male or female, every year since 1991.
