Arizona Women's Golf Remains No. 1
TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona women's golf team maintained its spot at No. 1 for the eighth consecutive week in the latest MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings released today. The 1 Wildcats now hold the school record for the most consecutive tournament wins in a row with five. The Cats last won four consecutive titles in 1990-91 and again in 1991-92.
Individually, two Arizona golfers are ranked in the top-10. Senior Jenna Daniels continues to be in the No. 1 spot, while sophomore Cristina Baena holds on to No. 8. Senior Jill Gomric is No.12, junior Christina Monteiro is No. 30 and freshman Julia Kraschinski moves up to No. 42.
