Men's Golf to Compete at NMSU/Herb Winberly Invitational

TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of Arizona men's golf team is back in action this weekend as six members of the junior varsity will compete at the NMSU/Herb Wemberly Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M.

Senior Rob Anderson; juniors Ben Clark, Brandon Smith and Brian Wolf; and freshman Andy Connell will compete for the Wildcats at the 37th NMSU Herb Wemberly Invitational. UA junior Tim Weiss will also compete as an individual. Sixteen teams are scheduled to compete in the 54-hole event.

The tournament will be held at University Golf Course, a par 72, 7,040-yard layout. A shotgun start at 8 a.m. MDT on Friday and Saturday will be used.
