First of all, I did not like the way we started out the game tonight. We were completely out-hustled in the first 12-14 minutes. Oregon State was tough tonight. They played a lot of high-low stuff that worked well for them, but our press got us back in this game. Definitely our press and our improved intensity is what let us crawl back in the game.

We showed a lot of poise in the second half. Our press picked up, our rebounding picked up and we shot free throws well down the stretch. Then their match-up zone started giving us problems and we didn't get back into this thing until we started hitting some shots.

We definitely need some better rebounding from our guards if we are going to win on Saturday against Oregon. I knew this game would be close and it was very important to us to get the win tonight. This is the same kind of atmosphere that we are going to find in the tournament, so it was key that we responded well.

We played tough tonight which I'm most proud of... there are a lot of positives that we can take from tonight. I told the girls to enjoy this win tonight, because they worked for it, but they better come ready to work at practice tomorrow.

At the beginning of the game we were playing very relaxed. There was also a lack of intensity. Before the over time I was in the huddle telling everybody we needed to start rebounding and getting into the game.
