  • Box Score

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Michelle Greco scored 18 of her 22 points in the second half and had six steals to lead No. 24 UCLA to an 80-66 victory over No. 15 Arizona on Saturday.

Monika Crank came off the bench to score 13 points to lead the Wildcats (20-5, 9-4), who were tied with UCLA at halftime.

Greco, a reserve, scored nine points in less than two minutes during a critical UCLA run midway through the second half that put the Bruins up 64-51 with 6:27 to play.

With the win, the Bruins jumped ahead of Arizona in the conference standings. Arizona entered the game in a three-way tie for first with Stanford and Oregon.

Arizona, which committed 29 turnovers, pulled to 56-51 on a layup by Angela Lackey with 7:52 remaining. But the Wildcats could scored only five points over the next 5:30. When Crank's jumper ended the slump with 2:12 remaining, Arizona was down 70-58.

Lackey finished with 10 points, and Elizabeth Pickney also added 10 for Arizona, which led by as many as six in the first half.
