Arizona Women Open With Win Vs. Oklahoma

HONOLULU (AP) - Elizabeth Pickney scored 22 points on 8-for-13 shooting as No. 25 Arizona beat Oklahoma 75-59.

Tatum Brown added 12 points Friday night and Monika Crank had 11 for the Wildcats. Arizona played without its top player, Angela Lackey, who was suspended for breaking a a team rule.

Arizona, which led 33-30 at the half, opened the second half with a 27-11 run, with Pickney scoring 10 points and Brown 7. Over the final 20 minutes, the Wildcats made 14-of-26 shots.

Pickney also had nine rebounds.

Stacey Dales led Oklahoma with 19 points, and Phylesha Whaley had 17.
