This year the excitement begins with McKale Madness at Midnight! Join the men's basketball team Friday, October 13, 2000, for their first official practice of the 2000-01 season. This will be your only chance to see the CATS practice this season.

The fun begins immediately following the conclusion of the women's volleyball match against U.S.C. Doors open at 10 p.m., and admission is free. For the best seats in the house join us for the volleyball match at 8 p.m., and stay for the madness.

Volleyball tickets are $5 for the general public, and UA faculty and staff; $3 for senior citizens, and students in high school and under; and, admission is free for UA students with a valid university I.D.

McKale Madness at Midnight will include:

• autograph session
• giveaways
• Alltel / KRQ half-court shot for $10,000 (register with KRQ radio)
• half court shot for a brand new Buick Century from Royal Buick (register with the Arizona Daily Star or Tucson Citizen)
• celebrity hoops game
• dunk contest between UA players
• first official men's basketball practice
