Northcutt is one of 10 semifinalists for the award, which is given by the Maui Quarterback Club. He is the Pacific-10 Conference leader, and fourth in the nation, in punt returns with a 16.5 yard average. Northcutt has amassed 1,862 all-purpose yards in 10 games this season, which is also No. 1 in the Pac-10 and No. 3 in the nation. He is among the top four in the nation in receptions per game and receiving yards per game. Northcutt has also seen time at cornerback on defense for the Wildcats this year.

Last season, Arizona cornerback Chris McAlister won the Mosi Tatupu Award for his prowess returning punts, kickoffs and kick coverage. This year's finalists will be announced in early December, and the winner will be announced on ESPN's Trophy Show later that month.

Wnek's play at H-Back and his 3.754 grade point average in the classroom earned him Academic All-District VIII Second Team honors. He has caught four passes for 22 yards and a touchdown this season. Wnek, a family studies major, is also a key blocker in Arizona's running game that is among the top 15 in the nation in yards per game this year.
