1924 Polo Photo

The 1923-24 polo team was the first Arizona team to play for a national championship title. Arizona continued to dominate the sport until WWII, when the men who played went off to war. In this 1924 action photo, Captain Jimmy Hearon heads for a goal. See polo come to life by viewing Jimmy's crops, mallets, saddle, hat, and other polo memorabilia, courtesy of Duff Hearon, when the Athletic Heritage Center opens.
