A player who has a wealth of collegiate golf experience, she was an honorable mention All-Pac-10 performer as a sophomore... Has 10 career top-20 performances... Has All-American potential... Played in the U.S. Publinx Championships this past summer in addition to the U.S. Amateur.

Junior (1998-99): Played in five tournaments and owned a stroke average of 76.79... Played in the top-five until the latter portion of the season... Best performance of the year was at the Rainbow Challenge when she tied for 13th with a 9-over-par 225... Was a part of the Wildcats' first-place performance... Tied for 34th at the Pac-10 Championships (234)... Tied for 26th at the PING/ASU Invitational (16-over 232) and tied for 22nd at the Arizona Invitational (5-over 221)... Best round of the year -- a 71 -- came at the Arizona Invitational... Her only fall tournament was the Golf World Invitational, where she tied for 54th at 25-over-par 241.

Sophomore (1997-98): Started the fall season strong, finishing tied for ninth at the Rolex Fall Preview with a score of 6-over-par 222.. That turned out to be her low tournament of the season... Helped the Wildcats win the Rolex Match Play Championships... At the Mercedes-Benz Championship, she finished 11th at 10-over-par 226... Finished tied for 47th at the Stanford Invitational with a tally of 11-over-par 230... Carded a three-day score of 13-over-par 229 at the Golf World Invitational to finish tied for 19th... Her best tournament in the spring was the Rainbow Wahine Intercollegiate where she finished in a tie for 8th after carding a 9-over-par 225... In her final action of the season, at the PING/ASU Invitational, she shot a 13-over-par 229 to finish tied for 33rd... Received All-Pac-10 honorable mention recognition... Ranked No. 55 in the final MasterCard Collegiate Rankings.

Freshman (1996-97): Finished first in her first-ever collegiate event -- the Northern Arizona Lumberjack Invitational... The tournament was a junior varsity event for Arizona... Carded two rounds of 71 to finish 2-under-par... Named to the Golfweek Women's Preseason Division I All-American honorable mention team... Landed in a tie for fourth at the Santa Clara-Colby Invitational with a score of 6-over-par 150... At the SanJose State Spartan Invitational she finished tied for 55th with a three-round score of 29-over-par 251... Finished tied for 9th at the LSU-Fairwood Invitational with a score of 12-over-par 228... Tied for 12th at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational with a 19-over-par 235... At the Ping/ASU Invitational she shot a 8-over-par 224, good for a ninth place tie... Finished tied for 18th at the NCAA Regional with a three round tally of 4-over-par 220.

High School: Attended Fallbrook Union High School... A four-year golf letterwinner... Member of the All-Southern California golf team in 1995 and was an All-Palomar League second team selection in 1994... Played on the Canon Cup team in 1994 and 1995... All-California Scholastic Federation (CSF) academic team... Also named to the San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic squad as well... Captain of the golf team in her junior and senior seasons... A member of the honor roll all four years of high school.

Personal: Shannon O'Neil Ingalls... Marketing major... Parents are Michael and Sara Ingalls... Father attended UCLA and her mom is a USC graduate... Sister, Meghan, is a freshman on the University of Nevada-Reno golf team... Career objective is to become a member of the LPGA tour... Born 10-29-78 in Glendale, Calif.
