Junior (1998-99): An honorable mention All-American and a first team All-Pac-10 selection... Placed eighth at the Pac-10 Championships with a 4-over-par 220... Finished the year ranked No. 24 in the country... Tied for 35th at the NCAA Championships (231)... Shot a 77 in each of the three rounds of the rain-shortened event... Tied for 39th at the NCAA West Regional after shooting another 231... Her 1998-99 stroke average of 75.28 was fourth on the squad... Played in 10 tournaments for the Wildcats and had four top-10 finishes and two top-20 outings... Named to Sagarin/Golfweek All-Far West District second team... Best finish of the season was a tie for sixth at the Golf World Invitational last fall... Recorded a 6-over-par 222 (75-78-69)... Tied for 10th at the Rainbow Challenge in early February with an 8-over-par 224... Was one of four Arizona golfers to place in the top-10, as the Cats won their fourth tourney of the season... In her other spring outings, she tied for 15th at PING/ASU Invitational and tied for 22nd at the Arizona Invitational... In the fall, she tied for 11th at the Stanford Intercollegiate after carding a 4-over-par 223 and tied for 10th at the Bama Preview... in both her freshman and sophomore campaigns.
Sophomore (1997-98): An honorable mention All-Pac-10 performer... Had the best tournament of her Arizona career when she tied for second at the NCAA West Regional after shooting a 3-under-par 216... Shot rounds of 72 each of the three days... That total was four shots off the lead... Battled with teammate Shannon Ingalls for the fifth spot on the roster, but her solid play at the end of the season was one of the keys for Arizona's Pac-10 and West Regional crowns... Played in eight tournaments, finishing in the top-25 five times and the top-10 once... Had a stroke average of 75.96 - fifth best on the team... At the Pac-10 Championships, she tied for 11th at 7-over-par 223... To show how loaded the Arizona lineup was, she was the Cats' lowest finisher in the tournament, even though she tied for 11th... Arizona won the Pac-10 Championship by 16 strokes... Competed in the Ping/ASU Invitational as an individual and tied for 23rd (9-over 225)... Finished tied for 50th (305) at the NCAA Championships which was an improvement from her first appearance in 1997 when she finished 85th (319)... Ranked No. 44 in the final edition of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings...
Freshman (1996-97): An honorable mention All-Pac-10 golfer... Had a tremendous start to her collegiate career... The UA's No. 4-5 golfer during the season and had five top-10 finishes in 10 tourneys... Ranked No. 39 in the country... Shot a 31-over-par 319 at the NCAA Championships... Her best outing in the spring was a tie for eighth at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational... Tied for the ninth in the tournament just before that one -- the LSU-Fairwood Invitational... Owned a 77.19 stroke average... At the Pac-10 Championships, she tied for 36th... Finished the fall season ranked No. 22 by the Rolex Collegiate Golf Rankings... Had the second-best stroke average (75.55) in the fall... Placed among the top-10 in all three tournaments she entered... Finished tied for seventh in her first collegiate tournament at the Dick McGuire Invitational... Opened with a first-round score of 1-under par (72)... Finished with a 2-under-par 71 in the final-round to record a three-round total of 1-over-par 220... Had another seventh-place tie, this time at the Golf World/Palmetto Dunes (11-over-par 227)...Tied for 10th at the Rolex NCAA Preview (233)... Named to the Golfweek Women's Preseason Division I Honorable Mention All-American team... Finished in tie for 23rd place at the NCAA West Regional in Tucson... In round two of same tournament, shot a 70, her low round of the year.
High School: Attended Althoff High School... A second team all-state and first team all-league basketball player... As a senior point guard, she averaged 18 points, nine assists and six steals per game... Was contacted by numerous schools to play hoops, including Illinois and Missouri... Illinois State Golfer of the Year as a senior... Took up the sport of golf at age 11... Played in her first national golf event at age 14 and although she didn't fair well, she was hooked on the sport after that.
Personal: Parents are James and Rose Gomric... Three older brothers played football and sister played volleyball... Born 2/6/78.
