Arizona: After making an impact in his first season as a Wildcat, Pedersen will be looked to for more of the same this season... Added much needed depth to the team as a junior transfer in 1998... Finished 17th in his first cross country meet for UA, the Irvine Invitational (25:30)... Placed 12th at the Aztec Invitational (26:06)... Finished 34th at the Pac-10 Championships (34:08)... Finished 46th at the NCAA West Regional (32:26)... Was UA's No. 5 finisher, placing 167th, at the NCAA Championships in 32:54.20... 1999 Track and Field... In the first 10,000m of his career, Pedersen finished sixth at the Pac-10 Championships with a time of 31:31.23... Ran 14:32.43 in the 5,000m at the UA-ASU-NAU double-dual meet...

Hawai'i Pacific: Attended Hawai'i Pacific University, 1996-97... Competed for Happy Chapman on the cross country team... Finished third at the HIAC Championships...

High School: Attended Canby H.S. in Canby, Ore... Lettered four times in track and field as a 1,500m and 3,000m runner and once in cross country for coach Tom Millbrooke... Also earned a letter as a fullback in soccer... All-Pac-7 League honoree in both 1995 and 96... All-state at the 4A level as a senior in 1996... Ran 4:01 in the 1,500m and 8:41 in the 3,000m his senior year...
