High School: In high school, earned honorable mention USA Today All-American honors... Chosen to the all-area and All-Washington teams by the Tacoma News-Tribune... Was named the Washington State Player of the Year in 1996 and was selected to the All-Washington first team by the Associated Press... As a senior, posted averages of 19.4 ppg and 13.5 rpg while leading Henry Foss to a 22-6 mark... Was team co-captain and MVP that year... Played with the AAU team, Seattle Magic...
