1998-99: Pac-10 All-Freshman Team... UA Freshman of the Year... Had two double-doubles for the season... One of only two players to start every contest... Her 35 blocks ranks fifth on the UA single season list in that category and her free throw percentage (.758) is fourth... Finished the year fifth in the Pac-10 in blocked shots (1.21 bpg), tied for seventh in free throw percentage, 15th in scoring (11.4 ppg) and 15th in rebounding (5.8 rpg)... Was third in scoring for the Cats (11.4 ppg) and led the UA in rebounding (5.8 rpg)... Had seven points and six rebounds at Rutgers (3/14/99) in second round of NCAA tournament... Tallied eight points, six rebounds and a season-high four blocked shots against Florida (3/14/99) in the first round of NCAAs... Tied a school record with 12 free throws made, out of 13 attempts, en route to 18 points against Stanford (2/27/99)... Shot 5-of-6 from the floor en route to 14 points against California (2/25/99)... Ran off 14 points and 11 rebounds versus Sam Houston State (12/4/98)... Racked up season-highs of 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead UA to win over San Diego State (11/23/98)... Shot 11-for-16 from the floor in that game...

High School: Selected first team All-Greater Houston, first team all-region and first team All-Texas while averaging 20.1 ppg and 8.2 rpg last year... District Player of the Year... Named to Orlando Sentinel All-South Team, as one of the top 12 prep players in the southern U.S... Three-time Hastings MVP... Scored 30 points or better in six games during the season... Set school record with 39 points in one game... Ended career with over 1,900 points and 900 rebounds... Was ranked as one of the top posts in state of Texas... Led team to 34-3 record, including a district championship and a berth in the regional finals... Team was ranked nationally as high as #15 in the USA Today poll and was ranked in the top five in the state all year... As a junior, was a first team All-Greater Houston pick after posting 19 points and 10 rebounds per contest... Graduated in top 15% of her class... AAU team was the Houston Hotshots...

Personal: Born Elizabeth Marie Pickney on Dec. 21, 1979 in Houston, Texas... Daughter of Debra Pickney... Has two older brothers, Edwin and Freeman... Major is nursing... Most often goes by "Liz," but her family calls her "Marie."
