Richard Jefferson -
"Personally, I struggled a little bit in the first half, so I knew that I had to come out and pick things up. In the second half, I was a little more selfish. I took a lot of jump shots, which they were really giving me.

"Lithuania was a good team to play, but this game was better because we had the chance to see where we are at and where we have some gaps.

On Charles O'Bannon:
"Charles was very helpful out there. Even though the crowd was giving him a hard time, he was taking it well. On the court, he was not trash-talking at all. He was just having a good time, and gave us very good competition.

"I am happy that the stats and the games are starting to count, but we still have to take it one game at a time. We are going to have to treat Kansas State the same as we treat the rest of our games. We can't do anything different just because it is the first game of the season. We have to come out ready to play."

Michael Wright -
"This game did a great job of preparing us. They are a good team, and really made us work in a lot of areas today. It is always good to play and beat good teams, whether the games count or not.

"We have to go out and play one game at a time. We know that we are going to have to step up our game another notch to play against Kansas State. I don't know a whole lot about them, but we know that they are a good, solid team."

Loren Woods -
On Kansas State:
"I know that they have a good big man, who is going to play us tough and give us a good test inside. We also know that we have to be ready for them, even if we don't know exactly what to expect. They are going to give us a good challenge. They are in the same tournament, so if they lose, they are out, too. Both teams are playing for the same thing."

Jason Gardner -
"Ever since I was a little kid, I have been working on my jump shot the most. Today, I got some good looks and was able to make a lot of the shots. I have been working everyday on my shot with Josh Pastner, which has been a big help.

"Anytime you play a good team that takes you to the wire like they did tonight, that is going to end up helping you. We are going to be able to learn a lot from the game today. We did some good things, but we also made some mistakes that we are going to have to correct."
