OSU Head Coach Eddie Payne

"First of all, in the first half the free throw line was the killer for us. There were five fouls on box out plays and a couple of touchy fouls. Turnovers also plagued us throughout the game, especially at the start of the second half. Those areas hurt us a lot tonight."

"Basically, when we didn't turn the ball over tonight we had good things happen for us. The points off turnovers had to be 20-plus in their favor. Like I said, when we took care of the ball it led to good things."

"We just can't afford to give that many opportunities to our opponent, especially when you're facing a team like this. Unforced turnovers will kill us. We can't afford that at all."

"There's nine more games in the Pac-10 season. Our freshman played well for us tonight, but we just had too many mental breakdowns that translated into physical breakdowns. Turnovers and bad fouls killed us."

"The guys that I took out of my lineup were taken out because they weren't playing well. We subbed because we wanted a better look tonight. I believe that if we play well, execute and take care of the ball, we can beat people. There's a lack of consistency as a whole with our team. We need every guy to be on the same page every night. Everyone has to come to play on the same night."
