USC Head Coach Henry Bibby Quotes:
We were in this game all the way. The guys hung in there and fought. It was one of our best performances. We had a chance tonight... I can't ask anymore from my guys. We were just a little bit short here and there.
We made them shoot outside tonight which is what we wanted. The basket at the end of the first half by Arenas, hurt and the at the very beginning of the second half we didn't play well. We played like we wanted to tonight but just fell a little bit short.
We played Brian (Scalabrine) when we could because of the foul trouble. When we sat him, we put him right back in. We also played some zone to help him out. Like I said, we were right there tonight and I liked our energy level tonight. We ran our game plan nearly to perfection.
We went up against one of the best shot-blockers in the nation and he didn't do much. How many teams play hard and that good here against Arizona. We were within three points with 63 seconds to play.
We stayed in the game and gave ourselves a chance tonight. We played a very good Arizona team tonight. They're good, strong, smart, quick and athletic... and we hung with them.

USC Player Quotes
Brandon Granville:
I think throughout the whole game we played hard. We turned the ball over a lot. I didn't see the stats but it looked like they had a lot more shots.
We would have liked to get two (wins) but Arizona is a good team. We have to win Saturday now. We played them close and and we beat them at our house. We want to get into the tournament because we feel like we can make some noise.
On Jason Gardner:
He's a good player. I think we're pretty similar in ways. He can penetrate, shoot the jump shot, and he gets his team involved.
Jeff Trepagnier:
We felt like if we could get some stops, we could win the game. They had the momentum going into the second half. It's tough, we're trying to get a win, so it's tough. We were in the game. We were close and we had a chance to win.
I was wide open, it just didn't fall. That's the way we drew it up in the timeout. We executed well, I just didn't knock it down.
It's frustrating. We didn't get any stops at the end of the game. I think we needed more stops near the end like when we played them in L.A.
