The University of Arizona Cheerleading Program

Mission:
The mission of the University of Arizona Cheerleading squad is to promote school spirit through tumbling skills, stunts, dance, and interactive crowd participation; unify all perspectives of student life at the University of Arizona; and represent the University of Arizona student body and alumni at University functions and public appearances.

Membership (SUBJECT TO CHANGE):
The University of Arizona Cheerleading program consists of a Red squad and a Blue squad. The Red squad, which consists of NINE men and NINE women, primarily cheers for football and men's basketball. The Blue squad, which consists of SEVEN men and SEVEN women, primarily cheers for volleyball and women's basketball. These two squads work together extensively to promote school spirit at the University of Arizona.
