8.8.2000 FOX Sports Net Arizona to Replay 1997 UA vs. ASU Football Game on Friday If the first week of college football practice is not enough to get the state's college football fans eager for the 2000 season to begin, FOX Sports Net Arizona will add to the excitement by airing another installment of the Arizona-Arizona State football rivalry this Friday night. FOX Sports Net Arizona will replay the 1997 Wildcats vs. Sun Devils match-up on Friday, Aug. 11, at 7:30 p.m. This game was won by the UA, when it came to Tempe and upset the 12th-ranked Sun Devils by a score of 28-16. Friday night's game is the second in a series of four replays from the UA-ASU football series that FOX Sports Net Arizona is currently airing. The next replay will be the high-scoring 1998 thriller (Arizona won 50-42 in Tucson) on Friday, Aug. 18, at 7:30 p.m. and the final one is on Friday, Aug. 25, with last year's 42-27 Sun Devil win in Tempe.
