LaKeisha Taylor -
"Our guards were getting the ball up the floor very well and then getting the ball well into the post. We were getting some good post ups inside and getting things open. We are always rooting for each other, and we know that when we come into the game, we are going to have to step up.

"We knew we couldn't let them get a lot of rebounds and get second chance baskets. We did a good job of screening them out and got a lot of the boards, both on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. What we needed to do was get some defensive stops, though."

Felecity Willis -
"It seems like they always come in here and are able to shoot the three well. Last year it was Lindsey (Yamasaki) who came in and tore it up. This year, it was their whole team. Most of the time, we were helping too much on the drive and things like that, and they got free for some open shots. We left them open for some wide open threes.

"Coming in to the league play, the coaches told me they had a lot of confidence in me, and that I just needed to step up and hit the shots. I knew that I could break out of the slump that I was in. It just took a little extra work and late nights shooting at McKale (Center)."
