Arizona: Did not run much late in the 1998 season, but her experience in the longer races will be counted on this year... Finished 22nd at both the Irvine Invitational and the Aztec Invitational in 18:55 and 18:44, respectively... Placed 40th at the Mountain West Classic in 23:06.8... 1999 Track and Field... Ran many of the long-distance races for the Wildcats... Top time of the year in the 10,000m was 36:06.15 at Mt. SAC, while her best 5,000m time was 18:20.30... Finished 11th in the 10,000m at the Pac-10 meet... Was a late-season addition straight from Germany in 1997... Placed 46th at the NCAA West Regionals on the Wildcats' home course with a time of 18:56.5... Finished 29th (19:32) in her first race, the Aztec Invitational... Transfered to Arizona from the University of Hohenheim in Stuutgart, Germany after learning about the university over the internet... Did not arrive until September as school in Germany was still in session until mid-August... Also ran on the UA track and field team...

University of Hohenheim: Stuttgart, Germany... Had personal-best times of 16:30 in the 5,000m, 9:42 in the 3,000m and 4:32 in the 1,500m... Second in the National Semi-Marathon, finishing in one hour, 16 minutes and 49 seconds...

High School: Attended Wirtschafts Gymnasium in Dornstetten, Germany... Second in the nationals in the 5,000m in 1993... Third in the 3,000m at nationals in 1993... Participated in the World Cross Country Championships in 1993 when she was 27th and in 1994 when she finished 67th...
