Arizona: Redshirted the 1998 cross country season, but had a productive track and field season... Will be counted on to run as she did in '97 for the Wildcats... 1999 Track and Field... Ran the team's No. 2 time in the 1,500m at the ASU-NAU-UA double-dual meet (4:33.75)... Also ran 2:10.38 in the 800m, the team's No. 4 time, at the Wildcat Qualifier... Was eighth in the 1,500m at the Pac-10 Championships in 4:35.95... Also ran the 800m at the Pac-10 meet, but did not advance to the finals... Ran the third leg on the 4x800m relay team that set a school record in 8:45.54 at the Texas Relays... Solid competitor for Arizona as a freshman during the 1997 cross country season... Finished 40th at the NCAA West Regional (18:51) helping the Wildcats to a fourth place finish... Was 44th at the Pac-10 Championships (19:08)... Placed 29th at the Murray Keatinge Invitational (18:36)... 1998 Track and Field... During the track and field season, ran the team's second best time in the 1,500m, 4:34.49, at the Cardinal Qualifier... Also had the team's top 800m time of 2:11.76.

High School: The Arizona class 4A cross country champion as a senior at Flowing Wells H.S. in Tucson, Ariz... During the track season, she also won the 1,600m and 3,200m state titles at the 4A meet... Four-time all-state in cross country... Won 12 letters in high school, four each in cross country, track and soccer... A member of the National Honor Society.
