This 1920 softball game was played at the former Union Park Racetrack, which was located at Park and 22nd Streets. The bulky physical education uniforms did not seem to hinder hitter or catcher, as they enthusiastically embraced play. One of these 1920 uniforms, donated by Harriet Hyer Leece, will be on display in the new Athletic Heritage Center.
