Scott Shake

Scott Shake
Associate Athletics Director, External Services

Shake works to develop support through the Wildcat Club priority seating, corporate sponsorships, marketing and promotional efforts. He joined the UA staff in October 1989 and was responsible for its Phoenix regional development efforts.

In the Fall of 1991 he moved to Tucson to continue his external operations duties. Before coming to the UA, Shake was executive director of the Aggie Sports Association at New Mexico State where he coordinated its annual fund drive.

A native of Seattle, Shake was a three-time NAIA All-American swimmer at Central Washington University in 1978-80 and coached swimming at West Chester (Pa.) State in 1981-83 and at The Ohio University in 1983-84. He was involved in fund raising at Western Illinois in 1984-85 and at Nevada-Las Vegas in 1985-86.

He earned two bachelor's degrees from CWU and a master's degrees from Ohio and Western Illinois. He's an accomplished and national contender master's swimmer. Scott is married to the former Tracy Ballin, and they have one daughter, Amanda.
