Bob Logan
Associate Athletics Director, Development

Logan, 41, was promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Development in 1999. Spending the past ten years in the field of sales and/or development, his current responsibilities include overseeing annual giving, capital projects, scholarship endowment, and planned giving programs.

Promoted to assistant athletics director in 1994, Logan continues to oversee the Phoenix office and was responsible for the Sport Interest Group program, has coordinated scheduling for football and men's basketball, and supported the department's development and planned giving programs.

He joined the Arizona staff in February 1992 after several years in sales management with AT&T Computer Systems Division.

A native of Tucson, Logan is no stranger to the community or the UA. In 1984-86, he was an assistant football coach at Arizona under Larry Smith, helping the team reach the Sun Bowl in 1985 and the Aloha Bowl in 1986. Prior to that, he was a history teacher and coached football, basketball and wrestling for his high school alma mater, Salpointe Catholic High School.

After his UA football coaching days, he worked in Italy as the head coach of the Bologna Doves in the IFL, leading them to a 12-1-1 record and the National Semifinals. Logan has served as past president of the Salpointe Catholic Alumni Association, was on the board of the Chris-Town YMCA in Phoenix, and has volunteered for the Copper Bowl, Special Olympics and Make-A-Wish .

Currently, he is a member of the Tucson Sunrise Rotary Club and sits on the board for the Tucson Parks .

He and his wife, Judy, have two sons, Thomas and Sean. He earned a bachelor's degree in education from Northern Arizona University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from The University of Arizona in 1989.
