Community Service:
Non-profit and Corporate requests for Memorabilia, Tickets and Autographed Balls Poliices and Procedures
Policies:
- No more than 150 organizations will be provided items within a fiscal year. (Athletics Director's discretion).
- Items must benefit either the University community, Tucson community, the people of the state of Arizona or a related Alumni organization.
- Out of town requests will be denied unless it directly relates to the University. The Athletics Department will not incur mailing costs.
- All balls being signed must be provided by the organization requesting the ball (basketball, footballs, softballs, etc.).
- All item(s) must be picked up and a form signed acknowledging such item(s) were received, as well as confirming that use of said item will be in conformance with NCAA legislation.
- Borrowed items used as decorations for special events held throughout the community must be requested in writing. Such items will be picked up and a form signed. Items must be returned with in two working days.
- Men's basketball tickets are not available for charitable donations.
- Non-conference football tickets might be available (limited number) for charitable donations.
- Charitable organizations that benefit only youngsters 9th grade and above are not eligible to receive donations from Arizona Athletics.
- Road Trips are not included as a give-away.
- Post-season game tickets are not available.
- Non-revenue sport tickets are available
- Only one item per organization will be provided. UA Departments will receive no more than 3-4 items per event.
- Corporations (for-profit businesses) are not eligible to receive items. They are encouraged to attend the department's dinner and auction, and will be added to the invitation mailing list.
Procedures:
- All requests must be in writing to the Office of Public Relations and Special Events.

Request must include:
- Name of organization requesting item(s).
- Item(s) being requested.
- The date the item(s) is needed.
- Purpose of item(s) (e.g. auction, raffle, etc.).
- List type of persons who will benefit from proceeds.
- List age range of group benefiting.
- Must provide a minimum of two weeks notice.
- All requests will receive a response within two weeks of date requested.
- The Public Relations and Special Events Office will work in conjunction with the units ultimately responsible for items requested (e.g. McKale Ticket Office, Equipment Room, Basketball Office, etc.).
- The Compliance Office will be contacted for approval of any requests that might involve NCAA regulations.
